Randi Shamsabadi Director / Repertory Company At an early age, Randi's parents knew she was born to perform. Twenty-one years later, after receiving her Bachelor's degree in theatre from Kentucky Wesleyan College, Randi is proud to be a member of Merely Players.
While attending college at KWC, Randi performed under the brilliant direction of
Joy Pace in many plays including: SUBURBIA, THE LARAMIE PROJECT, THE VAGINA
MONOLOGUES and THE CREATION OF THE WORLD AND OTHER BUSINESS, where her performance
as Azreal won her the Best Actor in a Minor Role award. Her other theatrical
credits include: being the first recipient of the Tom Ewell Outstanding Theatre
Scholarship, working wardrobe for a handful of Broadway tours at RiverPark Center, and writing her own short plays.
Her most recent play, SIX WAYS TO LOSE A PROSELYTIZER, was featured in OPEN 24
HOURS and published by Original Works Publishing in Los Angeles. |
