Merely Players wins awards at conference

Merely Players won three awards
for their production of "Open 24 Hours" at the 59th annual Southeastern
Theatre Conference in Chattanooga, Tenn., earlier this month.
They performed as part of the event's Community Theatre Festival.
Alan Velotta and Kevin Roach received "Excellence in Acting" and Steven
Craven and Velotta received "Outstanding Original Music."
Community theaters representing 10 southeastern states were scheduled to
participate in the festival.
