Owensboro sex act

When renovations shut down their normal venue, Merely Players, an Owensboro, Ky., theatrical troupe, decided to take its act to Evansville.
The not-for-profit group, which normally presents shows in Owensboro's Zazu nightclub, will bring its latest show, "Spooge: The Sex & Love Monologues," to the Penny Lane Coffeehouse in Evansville Tuesday.
The show, written by Joshua James and billed as "a comic meditation on the sexual instinct," is a series of often irreverent monologues on human sexuality.
Directed by Jeremy Scoggins, the show features Amanda Ball, Lacy Boultinghouse, Sharon Huff, Daymon Nantz, Andrew Roberts, Kara Rosenblatt, Trent Rosenblatt, Randi Shamsabadi, Rachel Simmons, Alan Velotta and Scoggins.
Tickets are $5 for the performance, which will
begin at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Penny Lane, 600 SE Second St. For tickets or
