"MY NAME IS
TRACY is an
original production that catalogs various permutations of domestic violence.
Enlightening and insightful in its exploration of the personal dynamics of such
tragic human interactions." —Louisville
Theatre.
This theatrical movement,
developed in Louisville, Kentucky by Bunbury Theatre's Artistic Director,
highlights the issues of domestic violence and the impact on the victims and
families. Through a series of vignettes and monologues, the destructive behavior
that occurs in intimate relationships is explored.
Developed in cooperation
with The Center for Women and Families, MY NAME IS TRACY sheds light on a problem
that faces myriad communities around the country. In Louisville, 1 in 3 women has
experienced domestic violence. More than three women are murdered by husbands or
boyfriends in this country every day. The problem is real and the possible
solutions need to be explored.
