David Bartholomy teaches literature and creative writing at Brescia University. He also produces 3^rd Tuesday Writers Coffeehouse and is the editor of Open 24 Hours, an annual regional literary journal of Western Kentucky and Southwestern Indiana. His book, Sometimes You Just Have to Stand Naked: a Guide to Interesting Writing, was published in 1983 by Prentice-Hall. He also has written a handbook for writers, They is Plural: Tips on Punctuation, Grammar and Word Usage, and occasionally he writes stories and poems.
